JohnElla Holmes, PhD, Executive Director and President of the KBFA has been named the Kansas Representative to the 400 Commission of African American History.  Dr. Holmes will join 48 women representatives from across the nation in the “Stronger than…” film produced by the commission. 

Dr. Holmes was also awarded a $2,500 grant by the 400 Commission to help support youth attendance at the Switzer/KSU Agriculture Camp for Youth.
