HRSA COVID Awareness and vaccination grant for rural communities and BIPOC farmers
Increase the Reach - COVID vaccination and education grant- ethic minority populations
Kansas Black Farmers Association awarded the Increase the Reach Grant to help vaccinate the BIPOC rural and urban communities. This Increase the Reach grant program is supported by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) as part of a financial assistance award totaling $79,278,482 with 100 percent funded by the CDC/HHS. The Farm and Food Worker Relief Grant
Grant to distribute relief payments to front line farm workers and meat packing workers. Through this program a one time direct relief payment of $600 will be available to qualifying front line farm, grocery and meat packing workers for expenses incurred due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
USDA’s Discrimination Financial Assistance Program
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced the opening of the financial assistance application process for eligible farmers, ranchers, and forest landowners who experienced discrimination in USDA farm lending programs prior to January 2021.
